Institution Verification

Feature Overview

The Institution Verification feature provides a means of directing a user to their desired medical record connection prior to a connection request being submitted. When a user searches for a data connection, they may not always know exactly what to search for, thus the user then engages with the Request a Connection feature. Institution Verification allows for a final check based on the connection that is being requested, allowing the user to review targeted results prior to finalizing their connection request.

Integration with SDK

The Institution Verification feature makes use of the available functionality via the searchConnections and searchProviders methods.

The Institution search term(s) entered by the user within the Connection Request form can be passed into each method. Results can be returned as part of the Request a Connection workflow, allowing the user to have a final check of the available connections prior to submitting their request.
