There are two types of accounts that can access the FHIR Server:

1. Service Account
2. Patient Account

Service Account

This account allows access to multiple patient records depending on the permissions granted to the service account. No patient is involved in this process.

Patient Account

In this case, the patient logs into b.well to get an access token and the service can pass that token to the b.well FHIR server. This access is limited to the patient record for that particular patient.
