Requested Connection Notifications

Requested Connection Notifications

Feature Overview

The Requested Connection Notifications feature provides a seamless communication channel between users and the system during the connection establishment process. When medical record connections cannot be established immediately, this automated notification system keeps users informed and engaged, ensuring they can access their health data as soon as it becomes available. Through targeted push notifications and deep linking, the feature creates a frictionless experience that guides users back to their desired connections at the optimal time.

End User Value

  • Optimal Engagement: Alerts users when their requested connection is now available, driving the user back into the application and creating a streamlined experience.
  • Streamlined Access: Direct deep links within the notifications guide users straight to their connection activity.
  • Enhanced Completion Rates: Timely notifications reduce connection abandonment and improve overall success rates.

User Journey(s) Enabled

  • **Close the loop on Connection Requests:**The user receives a push notification alerting them that their connection request has been fulfilled and that they can proceed with connecting their medical records.

  • Streamlined Access: When the user engages with a push notification, they are directed into a relevant connection activity, alerting the user of the details for the connection that is now available and providing a direct link to the connection log in page.

Integration with SDK

The Requested Connection Notification feature makes use of b.well's integration with your push notification channels, allowing the push notification to be delivered at the optimal time for user engagement and completion. The push notification contains a deep link to the relevant connection activity, allowing the user to directly access the information regarding their available connection.

The connection activity is available through getTasks by returning a task with a new activity type pertaining to connection requests. The activity contains information about the connection, allowing the user to seamlessly access the connection log in page.
